Summer Bourbon Dinner Series: Bulleit Bourbon

  • Old Vines Naples at Mercato 9105 Strada Place Naples, FL, 34108 United States (map)

Our Summer Bourbon Dinner Series returns on Wednesday, April 22, for a special evening celebrating the bold, distinctive character of Bulleit Bourbon—hosted by special guest P.J. Smerechansky.

Bulleit Bourbon traces its origins to the 1830s, when Augustus Bulleit crafted a high-rye whiskey in Louisville, Kentucky, known for its bold, spicy profile. After his mysterious disappearance while transporting barrels to New Orleans, the brand faded into history.

More than a century later, his descendant, Tom Bulleit, revived the original recipe in the 1980s, reintroducing the family’s frontier-style bourbon to a new generation. Today, it is produced in Kentucky and celebrated for its high rye content, smooth finish, and enduring heritage.
