Indulge in the Essence of Spanish Terroir and Meet the Winemaker
You are invited to join us for an enchanting evening celebrating the rich heritage and exquisite craftsmanship of Bodega Tierra. Nestled amidst the rugged beauty of the Sierra Toloño, this family winery boasts vineyards graced by century-old vines.
Bodega Tierra, nestled in the heart of Labastida, is a family winery that weaves together tradition and modernity. Founded by Carlos Fernández and his brothers Fidel and Rodrigo, this vineyard is a testament to their passion and expertise. With vineyards spanning thirty hectares, Bodega Tierra cultivates its precious wines on the sun-kissed slopes of the Toloño mountain. Here, century-old vines thrive, their roots digging deep into the earth, drawing forth the essence of the land. The winery itself, a charming ensemble of four houses and an ancient backyard, rests in Labastida’s old Jewish neighborhood. Beneath its historic facade lies a network of interconnected caves dating back to the 15th century, where 500 oak casks cradle the wines, maintaining a constant temperature and humidity.
It is said that when you sip a Bodega Tierra wine, “you taste not just the fruit of their labor but the very soul of the land that birthed it—where the story begins, where the vines whisper secrets, and where dreams take root.”
Bodega Tierra Proprieter/Winemaker Carlos Fernandez Gomez will personally introduce a curated selection of Bodega Tierra’s finest vintages, accompanied by four perfect pairings by chef Travis Roanhorse.
