Join us for a special evening featuring the wines of Foxen Vineyard, hosted by proprietor Jenny Williamson Doré.
Nestled in the heart of Santa Barbara County’s Santa Maria Valley, Foxen has been a benchmark producer in the region for over four decades. Founded in 1985 by Bill Wathen and Jenny’s late husband, Dick Doré, Foxen helped shape the identity of California’s Central Coast with its dedication to single-vineyard expressions and minimal-intervention winemaking. Known for their Burgundian-style Chardonnays and Pinot Noirs, as well as Rhône and Bordeaux varietals, Foxen’s wines reflect both the terroir and the pioneering spirit that has made them one of the most respected names in the region. This dinner will showcase a selection of their standout wines, thoughtfully paired with a menu designed to highlight their depth, elegance, and sense of place.
Guiding the evening will be Jenny Williamson Doré, a driving force behind Foxen’s success and legacy. Jenny’s journey into the wine world began in 1985 when she and her husband, Dick, returned to his family’s historic Rancho Tinaquaic and planted the seeds of what would become Foxen Vineyard & Winery. Since then, she has been instrumental in shaping the winery’s identity, managing daily operations while championing sustainable and responsible viticulture. Jenny’s passion for hospitality and storytelling has made her a beloved figure in the wine community, and her commitment to quality and authenticity is reflected in every bottle of Foxen wine. This dinner is an opportunity to not only experience some of the best wines from Santa Barbara County but also hear firsthand the stories behind the label from one of the people who made it all happen.
