Wine Dinner Series: Sinegal Estate Winery (Napa Valley)

On Wednesday, 22 July 2026, we take a break from our “regularly scheduled programming” with our Passport Wine Dinner Series to welcome a special guest host from Sinegal Estate Winery in Napa Valley, California. We are delighted to welcome Alex Finley -Southeast Regional Manager for the Estate - to guide us through a tasting of five wines from the estate, alongside a sensational food pairing menu from Executive Chef Sophia Kiasi.

Nestled at the base of the Mayacamas Range in St. Helena, this stunning 30-acre retreat—originally known as the historic Inglewood Estate—holds a legacy dating back to 1879, with its very first vines planted in 1881.

 

In 2013, the property entered a thrilling new era when it was acquired by father-and-son founders Jim and David Sinegal. Drawing on the legendary precision, discipline, and entrepreneurial spirit that helped them build the global giant Costco, the Sinegal family set out to honor the past while boldly redefining the future of fine wine.

They meticulously poured millions into restoring the estate, preserving its charming 1881 Victorian home while constructing a state-of-the-art stone winery, expanding 6,500 square feet of majestic underground caves, and breathing new life into organic vineyards that sit at a prime transition point between the valley floor and the western hills.

What truly separates Sinegal in Napa Valley is their unrelenting obsession with detail. They take a field-first, science-forward approach to micro-farming, tracking an incredible 1,403 precise winemaking steps from vine to glass.

Join us for a truly remarkable evening together as we explore this magnificent winery alongside a curated dinner paired by Executive Chef Sophia Kiasi and Wine Director Zach Bingham.
